About

Teresa Harris, Director
Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Therapist

Facing continued fertility challenges had been one of the most trying times of my life. 4 pregnancy losses and 2 unsuccessful

IVF cycles in 6 and a half years left me feeling angry, confused, desperate, resentful, and questioning everything I knew about my body, my emotional strength, and my spiritual maturity. But for as difficult a time as this season was for my husband and I, it had

also been a time of tremendous blessing: During our trek, I learned essential things about a woman's body and feminine health that I did not learn growing up (but should have--we all should have); I resolved many menstrual and digestive complaints, and the attitudes and choices that set these imbalances in motion; I shifted my perspective on what it means to be a woman with regards to work, play, nourishment, rest, and nurturing others; and I forged personal, and later, professional relationships with amazing women's health practitioners.

In professional practice I strive to educate each client, empower and support her, and help to create community among like-minded women and practitioners. But above all else, I endeavor to be a healing presence: to hold safe and sacred space for each client to enter into the full experience of life; praying only for my client to experience whatever wisdom and deep healing is available to her. In 2020, I celebrated 23 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist and 20 years as a Yoga Instructor (ERYT-500). In the Spring of 2020 I graduated from  the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy with my Professional Yoga Therapist Certification with a focus on Women's Health. So, while I'm relatively new to the field of holistic women's wellness, you can trust that you are in knowledgeable, intuitive and very good hands.

"I am seeing miracles happen. It's both awe-inspiring and humbling to see what happens when we give our body the support it needs to heal. I am so grateful to have been called to this very important work of supporting women just like me."

My studies in Arvigo® Therapy and Yoga Therapy have given me unique ways to support a woman on all levels of her being: physically, energetically, psycho-emotionally, intuitively, and spiritually. We don't just stay focused on eliminating physical symptoms, we explore ways she can live in harmony with her own nature.

I recovered from each one of my miscarriages with Herbal PeriSteam Hydrotherapy. It is one of the most loving things I have ever done for myself. I cried the first time I did it because I had never been so thoughtful and kind to this part of my body before. I grieved that I had been so callus with my womb space, and I asked for her forgiveness. I have steamed regularly ever since as a way to relax, center and stay connected to my own rhythm and cycle.
